Yee Haw! Uncle Curt's back!

Uncle Curt came back from Utah. The job wasn't what he'd expected. We were so glad because he was just in time to babysit! Lucas is fascinated by his size 14 boots and decided to take them for a spin! He didn't make it far!

Back to the Grind

This week was our first full week back to work and daycare. Whew! It seemed to last forever! We managed to have some fun though. We went to Lucas' friend Sam's 1st birthday party. Lucas loved playing with all of Sam's new Christmas toys, especially his slide. If we say, "Ready, Set," he'll yell, "Go!". We had Nate over to play one evening. It was fun to watch them together. Lucas' new things THIS week are to hide in the cabinets at daycare, with the help of accomplices, and to climb all the way to the top of the basement steps (on his own which scares us to death!)

Christmas Break

Hi all! I hope everyone had a wonderfully Merry Christmas and are enjoying 2007. I apologize for not getting a Christmas picture out. I have a wonderful subject, but not a quick enough shutter. Consider this your on-going card! Over the break Lucas got 2 new teeth and his first haircut. The weather was very mild so we were able to play outside several days, which he loves! He had a wonderful second Christmas. He got lots of new toys. Some of his favorites are his bouncing zebra, his Wiggles book, toothbrushes, a dump truck, a piggy bank, and a train. He also got some UO and UL gear. He's at the stage where he loves everything, even the wrapping paper, boxes, bows, and ribbon. He is an absolute riot! We've had a wonderful break. I just sit and play with him and love every minute. Look out when he goes back to "Nee Nee's" 'cause he's rotten!
