30 Hours in St. Louis

We visited te city museum which was like a giant jungle gym. It had all kinds of slides, an aquarium, and an outdoor jungle gym. Lucas had a blast. This was 4 stories high! I was scared to death!

We ended up having to cut our trip short because Lucas began running a temperature and coughing his head off. We still had a great time! Thanks for putting up with us Rusty and Melanie! Come to find out it was just an ear infection. Hopefully not a new trend since we learned both of his tubes are out!

Happy Easter!

We got a great night's sleep and then woke up and hopped to find Lucas' Easter basket! The Easter bunny brought him a CD, a Buzz Lightyear action figure, and a giant pop up book. We went to church and sat with Cole and Nate and then walked to Grandma's house for dinner. The Easter bunny had left treats at Grandma's house, GG and Pop's house AND Aunt Sue's house. Lucas got all kinds of goodies including Play-doh, matchbox cars, sticker books, Finding Nemo, and lots of candy! We ended an Easter egg hunt and then went home to take a nap! Thanks for my Easter outfit Grandma and Grandpa!

Big Brother

Last Thursday we found out that there is going to be a new addition to the family. Amy had not been feeling well for a couple of weeks, and after being told to go to the doctor for a week she finally listened. She had taken a couple of pregnancy tests that came back negative. So she went in on Tuesday and had blood work done and set up a "hide a scan" test for the following Friday to check her gallbladder. On Thursday the doctor called to tell her about her blood work and in a heavy asian accent said "congwadulations" She was shocked and thrilled. Later that day she and Lucas showed up at my basketball practice. Luke came in and said "surprise" which was no big deal because he is into playing hide and seek and then yells this when we find him. I proceeded to take off his jacket and noticed a new shirt on him. Then I read it. I was very surprised to say the least. The picture attached with this is the shirt he wore. We are very happy and excited with this news. We are very lucky and blessed to be able to go through this process again. It should be fun and Lucas seems to be excited for the time being. Hope all is well with everyone else. Joe

Another Snow Day!!

It was different waking up to see NO snow but to see school already cancelled! I must say they called it correctly this time though! We made it out today, but it was still rather gusty so we plan to do some serious snowman building and sledding tomorrow!
