Easter

We had a great Easter. It was a little different because my Grandma Curtis was in the hospital! A holiday just isn't a holiday without her! We went to early church and then to my mom's house for dinner. The boys were wild! Eating candy for breakfast didn't help! We had a great day!

Coloring Eggs

GG was brave and had the boys over to color Easter Eggs at her house. Everyone was eager. Lucas (18 mo.) had broken 4 eggs before the dye was even in the cups. He wanted to stir his eggs. Nate (17 mo.) did a pretty good job until he pulled a mug of dye over and it spilled all over the floor. Cole (almost 3) did a good job mixing all the tablets together. Needless to say, we had some interesting colors on some interesting eggs. It took 5 adults to supervise and clean-up!

Early Visit From the Easter Bunny

I guess the Easter Bunny had too much to carry! He dropped off a slide on Wednesday night. Lucas slid down in normally about 4 times, then he got fancy. He tired it on his belly, on his back, and even tried jumping from the top! Thanks Easter Bunny!

Spring Break (The Second Half)

We tried to have as much fun as possible before Wednesday because we didn't know how tubes would go! We weren't sure what that would do the second half of Spring Break. Things went extremely well. Anticipation was the worst part! He did extremely well and it only lasted about 5 minutes. Recovery wasn't fun with all the crying, but as you can see, we made it home and slept the medicine off and he was pretty much back to normal. He had some bleeding the next day that would put any parents (and grandparents) into a panic, but that, too, went away. He slept through the night the following 4 nights! Until he got croupe....We'll take what we can get. He and Dad took their first bike ride the night before! He likes everything but the helmet!!
