What a good use for those pesky chopsticks. We've moved from the microphone performance to the drums (he "bammed" his microphone too hard and it ended up in the trash). American Idol here we come!

We were dismissed early from school today because of an ice storm so we got to hang out and play all afternoon and evening.

Snow Day

We finally got to get out and play in the snow a little, in the rain. We were only out about 10 minutes, it actually took us longer to get ready to go out! We had just enough time to slip a few times and eat some snow/ice!

Big boy unders!

Recently Lucas has been taking off his diaper when he has to pee. This morning he went in the big boy pottie 3 times! What a great start to our snow day! Things quickly digressed when he decided to try a new medium on his aqua doodle. Who am I to stand in the way of an artist? Needless to say, he's back in his diaper for now.....at least is wasn't on the carpet!

Concert

Lucas learned tonight that this microphone was actually used for singing! He has been banging it on the walls and tables singing "bam, bam, bam" until the top pops off! Such a boy!

Sorry if you're dizzy. He's likes to move during his performance!

January in a Nutshell

I've been a very bad blogger! We've been busy, but I just can't seem to remember my camera lately! Here's just a few of the things we've been up to....

We had a snow delay and Lucas and I took advantage by building a minature snowman. (Joe wasn't so lucky and was on normal schedule!)

Lucas has really gotten into playing with his stuffed animals. He's so cute when he talks to them and even cuter when he disciplines them!

We've also spent a time watching Daddy's team play basketball and playing with Cole and Nate.

We went to a Super Bowl party at Sam's house (Daniel and Alicia, too). We even have gotten to play outside a few times because the weather's been fairly mild. Although we've also spent some time in the basement closet waiting out tornado warnings (in January and February????)
