Spring Break

The weather has been great! We've spent a lot of time outside playing. Yesterday we went to the zoo. The animals were active, as was Lucas. He loved the petting zoo. I was scared he'd fall and land in the yuck... He'd run from one to the other and jabber the whole time while pointing his finger. He even chased some ducks along the path yelling , "Pat, pat, pat" (His word for quack.)

It was pure maddness here on Sunday when the Ducks were taking on FL I've never seen Joe so nervous. Every time they've played Joe has had to watch elsewhere because it wasn't being shown. Lucas and I usually sent him early because he was driving us crazy. We had a Duck Party on Sunday to cheer them on, but unfortunately, they didn't have enough "quack" in them!

At Last....

Finally back in business! I've had MAJOR camera problems. Curt has spent countless hours with technical support and it is still a work in progress. We finally got smart and I'm using my mom's camera to download my pictures. Okay, enough about me I'll now try to catch you up in our lives! February was pretty much the month of repeated ear infections and 3 back to back antibiotics followed by a stronger medicine that was given in 3 shots, 3 days in a row! He loved me for that! Suprisingly, Lucas was his happy self through it all! He sang "Ashes, ashes" during Ash Wednesday Mass after getting ashes on his head. We tried to get a shot of him with them, but they were mostly on me by the end of church. Lucas still loves playing outside and cries when we bring him in...that's how he ends up with ice pops in the sink!
